Specialist Hand Surgeon, Plastic Surgeon
Dr Kyra Sierakowski completed her doctorate on hand surgery outcomes at Flinders University before then fulfilling her training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in South Australia where she further developed a special interest in complex hand, wrist, peripheral nerve, and brachial plexus injuries and conditions.
Following this she completed a fellowship in hand surgery at Middlemore Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand. This was followed by a Reconstructive Microsurgery fellowship in Winnipeg, Canada with eminent microsurgeon Dr Edward Buchel.
Kyra holds public appointments at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital and the Central Adelaide Local Health network (which includes The Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital). She is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a provisional member of the Australian Hand Surgery Society.
Kyra specialises in adult and paediatric hand and wrist surgery, including nerve and microsurgery.
